Water Repellent
Water repellents are additives used to reduce the effects of environmental factors on the quality and durability of building materials. Water repellents add hydrophobic properties to the applied surface, creating a barrier between water, salt, chlorine and alkalis and the surface. Water repellents do this without creating layers on the surface, hanging the surface appearance, and discoloring.
It is a special wax emulsion developed to give water repellency to gypsum boards.
- It is environmentally friendly.
- It provides lower use of defoamer.
- It provides less plasticizer usage.
- It is easier to clean and recyclable than silicone.
