Water Repellent

Water Repellent

Water repellents are additives used to reduce the effects of environmental factors on the quality and durability of building materials. Water repellents add hydrophobic properties to the applied surface, creating a barrier between water, salt, chlorine and alkalis and the surface. Water repellents do this without creating layers on the surface, hanging the surface appearance, and discoloring.

It is a paraffin wax emulsion that provides water repellency to the concrete by filling the pores on the surface.
